Tree Felling

It’s always sad to see any tree cut down, but sometimes it is necessary. There are a number of reasons why this might be the case, including the tree becoming old and unsafe, preventing the spread of disease, preventing structural damage to nearby properties and creating space for other trees and plants to thrive.

At Scotts Tree Surgery & Garden Maintenance, we’re experienced in carrying out safe and efficient tree felling on commercial and large residential properties across Dorking, Guildford and Horsham. Our team of fully-qualified professionals can make all necessary types of tree felling required to ensure your tree is safely dealt with, minimising any potential risk to nearby buildings and other surrounding structures.

What is Tree Felling?

Tree felling is the cutting down of a standing tree. However, in most cases, you’ll need a licence from the Forestry Commission, although there are exceptions. We can advise as to whether your tree will need a licence and help you to apply to carry out work on trees protected by Tree Preservation Orders and any cost likely to be incurred.

If you want more information and advice on tree felling services from Scotts Tree Surgery & Garden Maintenance, or if you’d like to arrange a free site visit and quotation, get in touch with our friendly and expert team today.
